When my eyes met, I fell in love with Venice. I was amazed at the Colosseum in Rome many times and ate the best pizza of my life in Naples. But from the quaint villages of colorfully piled houses to the mirror-smooth lakes of the alpine background, it's Italy's hidden gems that captivate me back. I have only explored 13 of the 20 regions of Italy, but discovered many of Italy's secrets, especially when I visited this wonderful country many times over the past year.
